Those photos are too cute!! We have just done a year of ballet with little Boo, but this year she wants to go back to gymnastics, not that much of a dainty ballerina Im afraid - she had an awful lot of fun though. I love the costumes and hair and all the playing "pretty" stuff. And good on you for the crotchet - I want to do that one day soon too!!
New ventures
* Trying to see if I can teach myself how to crochet...Wed. afternoons will be spent at ballet so I need something to occupy myself for 2 hours. Do any of you have any websites on crocheting you'd like to share? Please?? I have my book and know the chain stitch and think I'm on the right track f...

Please don't give up the Tues tutes!! Your timing is fab as I am finishing off a gorgeous 'Beaut' to send to my sister in the US for her first baby, a girl, due on New Year's Eve. Your tips help me create a beautifully crafted reminder of home for her. Love, love love your patterns too - made Mag...
Pleasure Greetingarts!! I think it will make things a little easier for a few people - at least I hope so! It is great to have something to show too while I am having this creative hiatus!

Ladder stitch to attach parts.
Here is my mini tutorial for ladder stitching something onto your softie. I am using Rudy as a demo but of course this is applicable for any attachments such as arms, saddles, etc. Here is my Rudy with one antler but waiting very patiently for his next one! Stuff your antler, ensuring that you...

Hi there Angela - how fabulous!!! That is so exciting that you will be there! I have to admit I am not that excited at this stage but more jittery about leaving the kids and the horrible 30 hours of flying and transit! Always have a complete ball once there though! We are in booth 1013. Pleeeeease come and see us and if we are acting dumb them please let us know who you are, it can be overwhelming there sometimes with so many people coming to see us and we forget who everyone is and were we know them from. Silly I know, but I also know it happens! Do you go to Market every year? This is our 3rd year in a row and we just love being a part of it so much.
Look forward to seeing you and safe travels :)
Take care
Melly

That is so cool that you are going connie!! Unfortunately we only give ourselves one day after market to go and shop/sight see and then we head back on the 14th to snuggle our kiddies and give them lots of presents that will hopefully ease our mummy guilt - LOL!!
We are gone 10 days just doing market (including set up) and having one day to ourselves at the end due to all the time spent in the air and transit (oh, I DONT want to think about it!!)
I hope you will have a ball though and it is such a shame, it would have been so nice to meet you!

I would like to take credit for designing my own shirt but I am sorry to say that my design talents do not go as far as clothing.... Maybe one day I will try??!!

Yes - TOOOOOO busy, as you may notice by the fact that I never replied to your last email! Man I cant wait for December when all of the trade show and teaching and deadlines are finished....ahhhhh! We must catch up for that coffee when I am back from Houston when the kiddies are back at school and kinder. I cant wait to be home already. I do love being there but I find all of the stress and travel and work to be a bit too much, worth it I hope!
Hope you are having a great time and enjoying the school holidays!

Hi there Connie, Sorry to disappoint but we only do Quilt Market!!! We only wholesale and dont retail, also I think it may be a logistical nightmare for us to try and do both from Australia. I nearly loose the plot just doing market!!!
I hope you will have a great time at Festival though!!!!!!

Hi there Robyn and thanks so much for your email!!
I think that the reason you sometimes get ovals may be that you are pulling the stitches with a bit too much tension. I used to have the same issue but have now started being a lot more gentle when satin stitching and seem to be getting much better results. I hope this helps and I hope you have a beautiful week
