We're out in Diamond Bar house sitting until October 9th. I'm excited to say that the house is lovely and we'll be having a small bbq get together. We're absolutely honored that they asked us to do this for them. The weekend was not terribly eventful. Not much to report. I did do my very, very first scrapbook page. It turned out absolutely delightful. My first book is going to be my side of the wedding festivities from last year. We'll be house sitting for our dear friends, the Ryan's. I'll be blogging and working on the shop as usual. Things have been hectic this week and I'm thoroughly looking forward to the weekend. I found a kickin' pair of heeled oxfords in my size today. I also found some great stuff for the shop and a new birdcage for the peach bird. Although there is nothing I love more than Christmas at Anthropologie, fall is a very, very close second. September brings many back to school looks perfect for every girl on the go (with her soy chai latte) of course. Enjoy. I just love all the drawers in the back. Sunday was absolutely lovely. My Dad took Jeremy and myself out to a champagne brunch at Sevilla. He purchased some chocolate covered strawberries and incredible champagne for us to celebrate. Thank you so very much to everyone who wished us a happy anniversary. Marisa's party was very, very fun and I got to see a lot of people that I haven't seen in a long, long time. New books for the shop! I'll be selling them in sets of three + a delightful little vintage travel book I am going to have a very hard time parting with. This travel book is from the 1960's in perfect condition just dying to come with you tahiti. It reminds me of the tiki room at Disneyland. I think that it is just so important in a child's development for their to be good, solid, imaginative literature available for absorption. Bonjour! 6 new items in the esme and kate shop. I'm just loving this deco 1950s jumper I picked up. It's closure is in the front with two lovely pink buttons. It's so very geometric. Today has been somewhat slow. I went over to target to get Jeremy an anniversary gift. We've officially been married for one year this sunday. Hooray!
