i LOVE spring break!!! I've spent the last few days at Canyon Lake with my best friends and my man :) Everyday consists of tanning in the inner tube floating on the lake. Cant wait for summer.

Today my love goes out to Lance Cpl. Carlos A. Aragon's family. RIP. He was killed in Helmand, Afghanistan on Monday. He was 19 and had so much ahead of him. My prayers for his family and everyone who loved him.

Thank you Warpees2009!!! I love my caricature!!! I'm obsessed with Angels baseball and hes a Marine and we love the beach! I cant wait to show Scott! He graduates from the USMC School of Infantry a week from today!

I am also a Marine girlfriend. You're not alone feeling this. Some days are so hard, some are manageable, and some are actually good :) My friend Teresa who is a Marine girlfriend also sent me this encouragement last week
"oh girlfriend... i have days like that all the time. try being away from them for 4 to 5 months. and we havent even experienced a deployment! its totally normal. i understand completly. everything remind u of them. every song. every place. every smell. somedays r worse than others. the one thing that helps me when i feel like that is just thinkin of all the good times. and concentrate on what itll be like when hes home. that wholesome feeling u get like a part of u thats been missing is finally here :) when ur with a marine, you have ALL kinds of different days. some good. some not so good. but thats part of the adventure :)"
