Many sites have posted these UN photos as a series (in fact, Daily Kos posted a funny narrative with captions based around the shoot), which makes the shot of Bush with his hand raised looking like he wants to be excused from the classroom to go pee. Does anyone have any details exactly why he has his hand raised?
I find that the comparisons to school are apt. Not only does it ironically link to the administration's patronizing attitude to all those "below" it, but it also reminds us of Bush's other defining moment: being stuck in the Florida classroom during the 9-11 attacks.
