oh, this post made me laugh. I totally know how this feels! Silly parents! How did you end up going with NaNo? I know that enforced writing deadlines are just not me - at the moment, it's FUN and AWESOME and an escape from my job, and I totally don't want to ruin that :) I haven't read any of the books on your list but they all sound good!

ZeE, my tips would be.... neutrogena hand cream (the norwegian formula one) is excellent, grab yourself some cortisone cream, and the dermatologist also said to avoid any handwashes and soaps, especially ones that are the antiseptic type as they'll dry out the skin. You just have to load up your hands with moisturiser as many times a day as you can. The Neutrogena stuff did make an instant difference, I have to say, and really thoroughly drying your hands (even taking rings off, sigh) between washes supposedly helps too! It's awful, so I totally sympathise!

oooh I like that one too! It's more... sparkly. I think the Marc Jacob Jelly shoes I just bought on ebay are kind of similar to that colour actually. Maybe a tad more pink. I'm excited for them to arrive!
