Hi Amy. Thanks. I do hope other moms will read this and learn from it too. It is so easy to place our aches and pains (needs) last when we are raising a family. But really, it should always be our top priority. I'm slowly learning.

Thanks Caitlin. How crazy was that! I just saw you guys in the event (I was there, but not myself the entire time) and then boom I was down. Again! My body really took the toll. I'm learning how to take care of myself better. I have to.

Karen, my kids are still very young and yet I can feel your fear. Although that 9 months will probably swoosh by, I hope in your case it will be enough time for you to feel ready.

Nancy - my problem is that I don't cook either. So the training will have to come from my husband who does most of the cooking at home. The sad thing is our boys doesn't seem so interested about being in the kitchen. So if my husband don't get a chance to cook that day, I end up buying dinner. Maybe my daughter will take on her dad's love of cooking. So cool that your daughter likes baking!

Sherri thanks for commenting here. BTW, I forgot to add how I wear my jammies when dropping off my kids to school. LOL...I remember how we were laughing about that at the party. Who's going to see? I'm inside my car. Although a couple of times some parents come up and say hello to me and I'm all embarassed. lol

That's too funny! I'm chuckling at the idea of getting my boys ready for school at bedtime so they can sleep in with their uniform on...haha And I am sooooo going to buy everyone a dust mop slipper too. hehe

I can imagine how frustrating that must be. Mine is quite the opposite with my middle child. He just doesn't really like eating but would grab fruits at anytime. I have to really force him to eat his meal, but he'd rather have an apple.

I remembered that you had to leave for Carol Stream after the brunch. Wow, that's a mommy guilt that will take time to get over with. Poor Kai! Let's blame it on the delicious quiche and great company...hehe I would've never seen the flags waving either most especially if I knew I had free time for myself for some Mommy Playdate. So don't be so hard on yourself. Again, blame the quiche. :-)MJ

Holy Cow! You mean we've been collaborating with a criminal?!!! LOL...kidding. Are you sure you weren't being punk'd? And I think your Mother is right, you will laugh about this one day and look at it this way...it'll be a birthday you will never forget. ;-)

I am sickened with all that is going on. This has pushed me to investigate Chicago Schools and to see what the school policies are on cyber-bullying.

I love this! Even before the kids came along, I've always worked from home other than some weeks that I have travel for work. So for many years I've gotten to that motion where I pick myself back up and dress and all that stuff then I go down again and only to pick myself up again. It is truly hard to get out from your pjs when no one else will be looking.

I have no experience with homeschooling either but it seems like you know that you can do a lot better for him. Then you should just trust yourself. I know you will be great at it Tracey! And since I have no experience in homeschooling and have been wondering going about that route, maybe you'll take a moment to write your journey into this.
