I dug it, for the most part. Was not super happy with the explanation of the "sideways timeline" (which I guess is a misnomer nowm but whatever), since it felt like it opened up a lot more questions than it answered. But the on-island ending was a really good way to come full circle & I think Hurley as the protector was the perfect choice.
