She had a sad connection to Syracuse, NY where I live...her husband, William Putch, died of a heart attack at a local hospital in November of 1983. He was directing her in a play that had begun previews 2 nights earlier....following the tradition of "the show must go on", she performed in the play that evening. R.I.P.
