Ta Da!! (I feel like I should attach some fanfare music): Here's the story of my scrap space. The bottom cabinet and granite were already installed in the MPR (Multi-Purpose Room) when we bought the house. Above was just a big blank wall that my husband wanted to put a... Continue reading

We moved into our new home three days before Christmas. To say the holidays were crazy is an understatement and since then I've been decorating and organizing every room in the house. My New Creative Space It took me a few months to decide that I wanted to put my... Continue reading

I like podcasts. I listen to them when I walk, hike, run and bike. One of my favorites is Paperclipping Roundtable. This show is produced by Izzy and Noell Hyman with Nancy Nally from Scrapbook Update as the resident "newshound". They say it's a light hearted look at scrapbooking and... Continue reading

I too loved the original book when I was a young girl. Twenty years later I had the opportunity to tour the Anne Frank museum in Amsterdam. It really is quite tiny but the thing I remember most is the growth chart on the wall. It marked all of the kids' growth during the time they spent in that tiny space, it sent chills through my spine. I also learned that there were pages of Anne's diary that had been torn out by her father after he was given the diary. I have always imagined that those pages were most doubtedly the most honest of all the entries in her diary. What I wouldn't give to read those!

I'm not one of those people who sits down with my photos, a bunch of cute paper and embellies and starts to create. I just don't have time for that. I want someone else to tell me where to start. Thus "Stolen Inspiration" is born: I know many scrapbookers who... Continue reading

I love colors. I love the science of colors. I have visions of color experts sitting in a swanky New York City loft/office, drinking Starbucks while they figure out the next official color palette. Or maybe they're in Paris at an outdoor cafe... however it's done it's pretty cool. Here... Continue reading
