You are so lucky to have seen him live! I hope you blew some kisses his way.

So jealous! We are planning to take the kids and see the winter olympics in 8 years (hopefully will be on this side of the earth). And I love the whole blogging conversation at border patrol!
SO GLAD to hear the news. Happy New Year to you and your family!

We have twins! Dova lost her two front teeth over the summer and there's been no sign of permanents yet. Guess we'll be writing the same letter!
Hi Kady, So glad you found me! I breastfed both my kids, 16 months and 23 months, while working outside the home full time. I purposely set up my daycare within walking distance from work and nursed during lunch as well as pumping for the first 10 months or so. That being said, it all worked fine until I had to travel. Then it was pumping up 3 or 4 extra days of milk, and then pumping at the travel site, which was never as convenient as at work, storing the milk in the hotel freezer and bringing it all back. TOTAL HASSLE!! I only had to do that once, but I would simply refuse to travel if I ever had another baby (which would probably mean taking another job at this point). Giving up breastfeeding for work for this diehard would be impossible!

She is the sparkliest and kicks butt in the boobs department for sure. You can see them in action in our Asian Invasion photo which is in my latest post... Praying hard.

We had the opposite situation, my son was really hard to teach to read and my daughter picked it up like she's been doing it for years. Every kid is different!

Oh no!! I would be mortified! Then again, I would be running away squealing from any sort of baby animals in the yard. My cats play with (i.e. eat) a bunch of them (mice, chipmunks, bats and birds as far as I can tell) and I just hope my hubby takes care of the carcasses...
We are exactly the same in terms of grades with the exception that we have no Caboose. Jammin looks really tall!! I bet he's the tallest in his class. Adam grew 1.5" over the summer and is quite the weed as well. Hope they had great starts!

OMGosh, what happened to your little baby? Who replaced him with a toddler? I demand to know!

I have a love/hate relationship with my external flash. Sometimes it is wonderful, and sometimes I can't quite master it, like I can my camera. I need to take a course! But in the end, I think it enriches my photography, so if you can find a used one, it would be worth it.

My friend has chickens and I was confused at first when I saw a lot of the hens having combs and wattles, but apparently that is normal. The one rooster that he did get was really aggressive and bossed all the other hens around. THAT'S when you know.
You are so funny with your feet sticking out. But I'm telling you, those tiny fish are deathly afraid of your shark size body!!
a) software geek / mom blogs about her life b) Greater Boston area c) I thought that the 5 boroughs of NYC were the whole of New York state and couldn't understand why they didn't look right on the map.

Tough to choose. I really like my recent birth story, but that is oh so "mommy blogging". So I dug into the archives and pulled out my phone interview with Google. That doesn't come around too often in our circles. All through the interview, I kept thinking, I'm am SO going to blog this!

OK, under my cool collected exterior is this: Where are the bathrooms at the Chicago Sheraton?? OMG do I really have to speak in front of all those people?? Which conference room should I hide in to do my conference call at work?? Shouldn't I be baking those cookies for the BlogHer Boston area get together tomorrow instead of surfing the web?? Can't wait to meet you in person... even if we are hiding in the bathroom together.

Oh, the anticipation, it makes me want to have another baby (or not)! When I had a girl, it was just space between the legs, no winky. I've never been on the edge of my seat when it came to ultrasound pics, nice post!
