Why must you confuse me? After all that confusion and frustration of trying to get you to install, I download the installer for a third time, and you suddenly decide to install on my computer. Why, Scrivener? I am grateful that you are now working at least, but next time... Continue reading

Recently, I set up a Google+ account. I'm not sure if they're still in beta or open to the public now, but there's plenty of people on there that it seems pretty open. Not to mention they give you 150 invites when you join, so it's easy to just say... Continue reading

Tonight, I went through and began reading entries of blogs I follow that I hadn't read yet. One of the last I read was "Yeah, Write." I really like this blog because it talks about scrapbooking, journaling, and all other kinds of "ings" that I like to do. Except perhaps... Continue reading

Recently, for my Visual & Performing Arts for Elementary Students my teacher had us do this little art project. Using color as our emphasis, we are to take these 8 words and make little drawings: tranquil, thunderous, war, peace, hot, cold, fluffy, and gritty. Here are four that I've done:... Continue reading

How would OnStar be great for me...? Well, I suppose I would have to say that it's because I worry about the safety of my daughter. Before, I didn't really worry about accidents, but after I had my little girl, I do nothing but think about accidents and how to avoid them. Hands-free calling would be great, as would the voice recognition. Once upon a time, I had a bluetooth. Can I even say where it is now? Nope. Far too many moves between colleges and homes have led to that poor little device getting lost in "space." So, Bluetooth and hands-free calling would help me keep my eyes on the road while still making or answering important calls.

My favorite coffee cup? Ah, that would have to be my purple and lavender Tinkerbell cup that says "Mornings are not magical!" that my darling mother bought me from Disneyland. Your coffee cup actually made me giggle because it reminded me of my own. :) I love coffee, and I can't even begin to explain just how much this coffee machine would make my life easier.

You know what I think kills blogs of poor people like me? People. I have come to discover that unless you have people who enjoy the same things you do, no one will read your blog. Because they just don't care. A few family members tried to support me--like my... Continue reading

Our first creative project for our "Visual and Performing Arts for Elementary Students" class (EDUC 349) was to create a name plate with texture. So some things on mine are 3D and others are resting on my not-so-flat canvas. Thanks to glitter glue on my first attempt, my entire canvas... Continue reading

Some of you may be aware that I'm raising a rambunctious 20-month old. And by rambunctious, I mean that her mother (me) would prefer to be inside sitting down, and the crazy child (she) would prefer to be outside, running around, and exploring EVERYTHING. My mother has said numerous times... Continue reading

I've run out of cute, little short stories to post for my daughter's potty escapades. So, let me just lay this out straight. My daughter has had 3 accidents in her "big girl panties." Once on the couch, once on the carpet, and once on the hard-wood floors. It's tough... Continue reading

Mommy had said Adelie would have setbacks, but even Adelie was shocked by today's adventure. While lying down with her mommy, she decided to get up and start pointing at her potty seat and saying what she hoped said "I need to use my potty." At first, Mommy looked confused... Continue reading

Today, I took a look at my diary and realized I had grievously failed my 30-day goal. What was my goal? To write 500 words on a daily basis. How many days did I do? Not a single one. I couldn’t really say why it was that I didn’t do... Continue reading

Today, while on a walk around the nearby mall, Adelie and her mommy went to the potty. The mall had special potties so that a mommy and toddler could go together. Adelie had been to these potties before, and when her mommy pushed the stroller in, she pointed to the... Continue reading

Today was the day! Adelie was finally old enough to start wearing training big girl panties. She went to the nearby Target with her mommy and nanny. "Pick out your training panties," her mommy said. She looked over the selection. There were some in a pink package with no remarkable... Continue reading

I don't know how many of you know what prosciutto is, but it's amazing! Basically, it's ham that has been... Honestly, I don't know what's been done to it. But it's delicious. One of the greatest things I've done with it is made this panini. Here's the recipe. Hopefully, a... Continue reading

Honestly, I love to grocery shop. As a child, my mother would always get to choose the meal plan for the week/month. Now, I can go and make my own choices and buy whatever I like. I shop at WinCo, which has a cashier to check you out, but you still have to bag your own stuff. I like this because this way I can put refrigerator stuff together, etc.

So I went to the movies tonight with my husband. We saw the new movie Bad Teacher. It was interesting to say the least. For one thing, it's an unbelievable tale about a crazy ass teacher who's trying to raise money for her boob job. There were funny parts, but... Continue reading
