I'm am not just blaming TV and video games. The biggest thing is the parents and the fact that they are not promoting active lifestyles. People are just lazy, the kids see this and follow suit. You can't blame poverty for obesity either. Eating junk food and MacDonalds all the time can be very expensive. An apple is a great snack, and a bag of those cost about 4 or 5 bucks. What I'm trying to get at is the active lifestyles that are missing out of most kids lives. Just by getting out and running around increases the heart rate and burns calories. And you can't say that parents are uneducated about bad health choices. It's common sense. I'm not saying they need to know everything there is about calorie intake and how much work it takes to burn off. I'm just saying that it's common sense the more active you are the better you feel and the healthier you will be.
