Oh how lovely! I love your trees too :-)
Ffawydden
Adventure Husband hard at work last summer This is my first gallery post so please go easy on me! When I saw the title this week, I just had to join in. Trees are almost part of the family in our world, as Ffawydden (meaning Beech trees, in welsh) is where we live. When we moved here more than...
Haha! How cute! :-)
Handle with care
Nothing to see here ... Or is there? Proof the packaging is the best bit. Now where shall I send her?
Oh my goodness! You clever mummy you! It is absolutely FAB! Mr Tumble is a huge hit in our house too and I think you may have just found a gap in the market.. Are you going to be taking Christmas orders..? ;-)
Mr Tumble Doll
Like many of the toddlers out there, my little one absolutely loves Justin off Cbeebies. She particularly likes Mr Tumble. I looked for a Mr Tumble doll but could only find 1 and it was really poor quality. So I decided to make one. The lovely Maggi (@Redtedart) on Twitter suggested I keep a p...
I'm sorry but I'm not sure that I agree! I think it is lovely that you wrote to them but did you do it in the hope of vouchers or just because you wanted to tell them how much you loved their coffee? I think the response you received back from Starbucks was lovely in itself and I don't think the lack of freebies is a sign of bad customer service at all *runs away and hides*
Starbucks customer service
I recently decided to write to Starbucks to thank them for some of the good customer service I had received. This was following a chat with the in-store manager who was bemoaning the fact that they only ever got slapped for doing things wrong but never had the positive feedback passed to them by...
I received my gorgeous bouquet yesterday and it really made my day! It is in gorgeous Autumn tones too to match the colour scheme of my blog - such a thoughtful touch!
And I'm lucky to be an official toyologist for Toys R Us too! I have to say that the boxes of toys that we have received have been truly overwhelming but I want to add as well that the team over at Toys R Us are just fab! They have really engaged with the bloggers involved and I am so proud to be part of such a successful campaign.
Happy days! :-)
Blogger campaigns: Interflora, Toys-R-Us and Stoves
With September we have seen a huge uptake in brand campaigns flying around mumosphere. Some very elaborate, and some so beautifully simple. Interflora has started a blogger outreach programme with We Are Social. It included sending flowers to bloggers. The twist was that they used blog design t...

Great competition and great prize - or at least it will be if I should win ;-)
Win a break for two at the UK's first eco-spa
I'm all for big brands getting behind green projects. Procter & Gamble wrote in to tell me about their Future Friendly initiative, an education programme involving P&G brands including Ariel, Lenor, Fairy, Flash, Duracell Rechargeables and Iams. Supported by NGO partners the Energy Saving Trus...

August Tots100 Index of British Mummy and Daddy Blogs
Welcome to the August 2010 Tots100 index of the top 100 British Parent bloggers. It might be the school holidays but the UK's Mummy and Daddy bloggers have been keeping busy - we've got 12 new entries to the index this month and a new number 1 British Parenting blog - congrats to the utterly...
I use Twitter more than I would care to admit *cough* and yes, I think I would be willing to pay a small nominal fee to use it.
Facebook have toyed with the idea of charging people to use it in the past and it too has been met with most people saying that they would not be prepared to pay. I guess they all missed a trick by not charging people in the first place and it would now be very hard to convince people to pay for asomething that they have been using for so long for free. Just a thought!
The future of Twitter - what do you think?
I confess, I love Twitter. At first I didn't get it and my friend Jane practically browbeat me into using it. Now I check it loads of times every day to keep up with what friends and fellow bloggers are doing, saying, reading. But is it just a fad, like some of its detractors say? Maybe. But o...
