ah Timji - you once said "The older I get, the better I used to be!" - I hope you feel better after Mom's chicken soup (or kitchari, or what ever comfort food she makes you. She sounds amazing and I hope I have half her energy when I'm 93! I love the story on Karttikeya, I'll be learning the Shadow Yoga Karttikeya Prelude form this summer (it's quite graceful and full of spiraling movements that belie the difficulty of the sequence); i really appreciate having learned the Ashtanga practice, and especially being able to take your class a couple of times which is where you said the above quote...)
