The Friends of Myles Standish State Forest http://www.friendsmssf.com/ just remarked that trail. We're so glad you enjoyed it!
Running in Myles Standish State Forest
Explored Myles Standish State Forest today! A mix of soft trails and a paved bike path, it was a peaceful place to enjoy a recovery day run. The loop I ran was called the "Bently loop"
The picture was published by Crown Publishing in 1967 in "Fads, follies, and delusions of the American people" by Paul Sann. P.150 has a photo with the caption, "Anyone for skateboarding? This is Katherine Hepburn on an outing in Beverly Hills. Her sister's son, Jack Grant, got the actress hooked on the sport while working on a book about it. Grant made this picture." It seems likely that the caption refers to this photo. (found via Google books. I don't have the book.)
Katharine Hepburn Skateboarding
Does anyone know what the origin of this photo is? I Googled "Katharine Hepburn skateboarding" and can't find the who/what/when/where/why for this image. Let me know if you know, thanks! [Thanks to AnotherMag for the find!]
