As Mark Twain said,""Twenty years from now, you will be more disappointed by the things you did not do than by the things you did do. So, throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover." Cheers, Shelagh

I only journal faithfully when I am traveling. Which is sadly something I have not done really for a long time. Not like I used to, alone and on the road with no timetable and adventure and discovery unfurling ahead of me. It is wonderful to read those notebooks and marvel at the things I've done. Sometimes it is like reading about someone else because I cannot remember the event! I have notebooks around the house that I jot ideas in, random notes and scribble grocery lists, they are fun to browse through. Yes a book of your own is fun:)

Planning trips is always fun. I drove to Florida from NS when I was 19 with my boyfriend. Road trips are great:)

Ooh Ottawa! Lovely pictures! We have Beavertails too. They sell them in the summer along the Halifax waterfront boardwalk. I like the lemon and sugar. Yum. Wouldn't it be fun to attend the Snowflake Ball but I bet the Fur Ball would be fun too. Love that name:)
