AFTER with mesh tool ORIGINAL picture
The hues in the color of the original fish match well, but around the fins I do see more details, or ridges. Perhaps the pen or line tool could have added texture, or lines of darker color with a little opacity.

I love the graphics on your project because even thought the fire is supposed to be in the background it pops enough to hold up on its own so that the other photos you used on top of it looked good.
