There was a rumor in the summer of 2009 in England that up to 20,000 problem families were going to be put under 24 hour a day CCTV video surveillance in their private homes that were dubbed "Sin Bins" by the droll and cheeky British tabloid press: http://tinyurl.com/685onlp As far as I can tell it wasn't implemented, but it's really only a matter of time until we hear someone else here in the US come up with taking it past keeping a vigilant video eye on our 21st Century Hoovervilles from a distance and putting them in the tents themselves.
#bionic #hand #darpa #silmaj Excuse me? Usually you're right, about everything, but on this one I'd suggest going back and doing some more research. There is nothing, but *nothing* on earth more complex than what every person on earth takes for granted, the mechanics of the human hand. Up until now no one has been able to duplicate it. Holy shit, 2 seconds in I saw a major breakthrough, and this clip is from 3 years ago, which means that whatever DARPA has got in the Lab today is at least 2x better than what we're seeing in this brief clip. This is a Good Thing, and the last thing I'd like to see is Teabagger Nation incoherently rage against it. They've already set enough things back 50 years, why add this to the mix?
They left out Big Audio Dynamite's song from the year 1988, '2,000 Shoes'. The video has fallen down the WWW'S Memory Hole but here are the lyrics: Big Audio Dynamite, Tighten Up The Vol. '88 2,000 Shoes Phillipine star greedy girl Took the money to buy the world First a little then the lot Others’ needs were soon forgot Heard you like a love song This here one is just for you In keeping with your taste we hope It’s called 2,000 shoes Never had a conscience Or any moral views Even any kind of taste Just 2,000 shoes If I had the world to sell Could strike a deal with you I know you haven’t got the cash Just 2,000 shoes Catwalk at the embassy Supplied by human rights Qadahafi and George Hamilton Mao Tse Tung and disco lights Never had a conscience Or any moral views Even any kind of taste Just 2,000 shoes If I had the world to sell Could strike a deal with you I know you haven’t got the cash Just 2,000 shoes 2,000 shoes Phillipine star greedy girl Took the money to buy the world First a little then the lot Others’ need were soon forgot Heard you like a love song This here one is just for you In keeping with your taste we hope It’s called 2,000 shoes So here it is Imelda Sorry it’s the blues Would have done it different If I were in your shoes Never had a consience Or any moral views Even any kind of taste Just 2,000 shoes If I had the world to sell Could strike a deal with you I know you haven’t got the cash Just 2,000 shoes 2,000 shoes http://lisawallerrogers.wordpress.com/2009/03/12/imelda-marcos-2000-shoes/
Both found me on Toytown and said sorry for their fellow Brits. Class Acts and True Sportsmen.

Another American Police State outrage. How much longer are We The People going to tolerate this?
He got nailed in a Cross Walk.
The Bible, like pr0n, needs to be Age Restricted. No one should be allowed to show it to minors, due to its heinous content. It also needs to be sold with a bright red and yellow warning sticker that reads: Parental Advisory Warning: EXPLICIT CONTENT

It's a pretty innocuous pic of a priest performing his duties and cleaning a crucifix. Catholics, it seems, can't help but to read sex into everything. A little obsessive way to go through life, but like, whatever. I am looking for a New York Times Profile piece on him set in his Undergrad years in Harvard. He was one of those Ayn Rand pencil necked dweebs that infested US College Campuses in that Era and the article does a good job of presenting that. Ugh, and to think that he's not only a Supreme Court Justice, but *the* Top Chief on the Totem Pole. And, given his age, likely to remain there until my Great-Great Grandchildren are a distant memory to those that come after him. Makes me want to hurl chunks and drink heavily. The Busch Legacy, ain't it grand?
