Hello All, I have been reflecting on the fine webinar presentation on Leadership Strategies and Tools led by Dr. Craig Dreeszen who led me to one of my most recent AHA! moment of the concept of leading from one's strengths and attributes rather than trying to fit one's personality into their idealized version of what they THINK a good leader should be.
Now today after Alene Valkanas' first webinar I have another realization.
Not only do I have to lead from my own strengths, I must be cognizant of the comfort zone and strengths of my staff and colleagues, acknowledging their individual strengths and empowering them to assure organizational stability, strength and momentum. I'm wondering if any of you have additional insights relative to hierarchical vs. flat organizational structure or motivations and proclivities or the various generational descriptors: Boomer, GenX or Millennials?
