Thanks for the question, it really is a good one for each of us to consider... The 4 Major Attitudes (states of mind) of learning that we each go through. 1. DUALISM, subject-object, a good example might be thinking that God is forgiving AND wrathful. 2. SEMI-DUALISM, Beginning to question, ie. "If God is Love can God also be hate, flawed etc? 3. NON-DUALISM, Is where your fantastic blog post question shows up, but to accurately be my example I'll restate it...If a tree falls in the forest and there is nobody there to hear it, does it still make a sound? 4. PURE NON-DUALISM, Not only does the universe not exist, I do not exist on any other level than pure spirit. Here is where the mind chooses completely against itself in favor of God.
