Be it noted that the verse Rauf cites when he says "The Holy Quran says that whoever kills an innocent, it is as if he has killed all mankind" is 5:32, the full text of which reads: Because of that, We decreed upon the Children of Israel that whoever kills a soul unless for a soul or for corruption [done] in the land - it is as if he had slain mankind entirely. And whoever saves one - it is as if he had saved mankind entirely. And our messengers had certainly come to them with clear proofs. Then indeed many of them, [even] after that, throughout the land, were transgressors. This is follwed by verse 5:33, which reads: Indeed, the penalty for those who wage war against Allah and His Messenger and strive upon earth [to cause] corruption is none but that they be killed or crucified or that their hands and feet be cut off from opposite sides or that they be exiled from the land. That is for them a disgrace in this world; and for them in the Hereafter is a great punishment ... Rauf, in this article, has done what Muslims often accuse us in the Counterjihad of doing: taking Qur'anic excerpts out of context. This supposedly merciful text, often cited by Muslims and their legion of lickspittles, is actually a dire warning to Muhammad's Jewish adversaries.

Palin is personable, attractive, clever, decent enough not to have aborted a special-needs child for the sake of her own convenience, and willing to take the bark off that snooty cheeseball in the White House. Her gender serves to trump the Enemycrats' race card. She not only has a shot at the presidency but a damn good one, and that's why you varmints are terrifed of her.

America is absolutely awash with easily obtainable firearms. You can go down to a gun show at the local convention center and come away with a fully automatic assault rifle, without a background check, and most likely without having to show an identification card. This prattling pudgeball is simply parroting Democrat party talking points on gun control. Watch for this to show up in their future antigun campaigns, complete with a citation to AQ. Both the jihadists and their leftist liberal lickspittles want the American populace disarmed, that it may be as prostrate before the Muslim onslaught as that of Britain currently is.

She also compared the messages of peace in the Quran to America’s founding documents ... Well, let's compare them, shall we? For example, the Declaration of Independence: "We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights, that among these are life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness." Vis-a-vis the Qur'an, verses 3:110: "Ye [Muslims] are the best of peoples, evolved for mankind, enjoining what is right, forbidding what is wrong, and believing in Allah." And 98:6: "Those who reject (Truth), among the People of the Book and among the Polytheists, will be in Hell-Fire, to dwell therein (for aye). They are the worst of creatures." No amount of New York Times puffery can conceal the mendacity of Daisy Khan.
We will ensure that a citizen's right to keep AND BEAR arms is respected in every state in the Union by mandating the universal acceptance of concealed-carry permits, and forcing the passage of pre-emptive "shall issue" laws for the granting of same in the few states that still lack them. Are you listening, NYC Mayor Bloomberg, you pig-rich, Arab money-sucking tyrant?

Regarding Rauf's claim to be an "American Muslim," consider this declaration made by Organization of the Islamic Conference Secretary General Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu in a speech at Columbia University on Sept. 18, 2008: "The Muslim Ummah, means the 'community of the faithful'. It is a unique bond that has no similar example under any other political or religious system in the world. It is a belonging to ideals which bring Muslims together in an eternal brotherhood lock which transcends all other consideration of allegiance or loyalties or barriers of nationhood, ethnicity, geography or language." Hence, according to one of the most senior representatives of the Muslim world, there is no such thing as a "Muslim American" or an "American Muslim," the two categories being mutually exclusive -- transcended by an "eternal brotherhood lock." This is implicitly recognized by the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), the compound modifier in whose name is used advisedly. (See also Qur'an 48:29, which mandates that Muslims be "hard against the disbelievers and merciful among themselves.")

As a former MSM journalist -- I resigned from my paper in protest in 2006 after my putative superiors refused to print any of the Danish Muhammad cartoons with an op-ed piece I had written about the controversy -- I wish I could say Pamela's piece is exaggerated. Tragically, catastrophically, it is spot-on.
The money quote: His suggestion to Muslims on how to deal with western Christians and Jews was: “deal with them as one courts a pretty girl he wants to date; stop thinking like a typical Muslim. Then you can engage.” Yes, charm and gull them, rather than bullying them as a "typical Muslim" would. Seduction rather than rape -- but the object of the exercise still ends up getting f**ked.
The funding that ought to be investigated is Mayor Bloomberg's. In 2007, the financial news and information services media company he founded and owns 88 percent of held a seminar in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, pitching its services. At the time the Saudi English-language newspaper Arab News quoted Ralf Haslbeck, the firm's equity project manager for Europe and the Middle East, to the effect that, "The Middle East is the fastest-growing market for Bloomberg in terms of terminal sales." Of course, the Middle Eastern boodle that has helped make Bloomberg the 8th-richest man in America couldn't possibly have anything to do with Hizzoner's kindly attitude toward this Muslim offensive against his city, could it?
