Gracious Floral Birthday by Trina Pham
Hello everyone. I needed a birthday card and created this simple card using all three products from the June 2023 Gracious Floral collection. The floral image was stamped with Fade Out ink on white cardstock for a no-line coloring look. Used the coordinating stencils and a couple of gradien...
Hello Sue, this is one stunning card! And your tutorial is much appreciated. I've Pinned it. Just one thing though, I literally scoffed at the thought of gluing those die cut layers being EASY? Ha! I'm 64 years old and that's by far the hardest part! Do you have any tips at all for making it easy? And what adhesive do you use - spray? Xyron? Craft glue? Would be much appreciated! I admit, thinking about laying down that top gold layer after all of that glitter gluing gives me anxiety, lol. At any rate, you are well-skilled at it! XOXOX
Glittered Holly by Sue McRae
Hi everyone, Sue here with my first Christmas card of the season and I thought I would sparkle it up big time! I couldn't wait to use the gorgeous Holly Background die and decided that all the open spaces in the design would be wonderful to fill will glitter glue. If you follow along with my...
Stef just had to come over and comment, that is one awesome card - haha you might drive someone to drink giving them that! Perfectly arranged and color-coordinated! Love it! XOXO
Holiday Leftovers
We're still creating with Holiday Leftovers at Jingle Belles this week. For my leftovers, I went straight to my sticker bin. I love using leftover stickers to fill the entire front of my card. I combined some leftover puffy drink stickers with several texty stickers and a vintage wood b...
Hi Cindy. Thank you for visiting my blog. Your piece is very sweet. I am intrigued by the origins of these nursery rhymes. Read a book once, arguing they were all political and derogatory. I tend not to believe that's the case for all of them, although most of these rhymes are not what they'd be today. My Mary Mary one has some wild back stories that seem a bit over the top. That House of Tudor generates a lot of the stories. Anyway, if I remember correctly, yours also about that time, Elizabeth I is the queen in it. If I am remembering correctly, lol. xoxo, Aimeslee
Sunday Postcard Art - Nursery Rhymes
This week, the theme for Sunday Postcard Art is Nursery Rhymes.
Love what you did with it! I am right now collaging with text pages from Mary Higgins Clark's Loves Music, Loves to Dance. And I read every word of that book first, haha! It was good! xoxoxo
Sunday Postcard Art - Spring
This week the theme for Sunday Postcard Art is Spring. For some places, that’s wishful thinking for the first week of March, but I think it might be starting here on the West Coast of Canada. I started with a postcard depicting a field of pink tulips. I don’t know where it came from. On the...
LOL, hmm, after midnite, eh? Love it. Splendid hosting, theme and sample this week, xoxo
Sunday Postcard Art - Bingo!
This week I’m thrilled to be hosting Sunday Postcard Art with the theme of Bingo! As many of you will know, many of my smaller works are made on altered bingo cards. This is something I’ve been doing for years - ever since I saw one in Somerset Studio (probably in the early 2000s). Folks ofte...
So appropriate for this week, love it, Cindy, xoxo
Sunday Postcard Art - Air Mail
This week’s theme at Sunday Postcard Art is Air Mail. Great postcard Theme! I used a cancelled postage stamp, a scrap of map and a vintage air mail sticker to augment my winged heart painting - the substrate is a Multo card. Because I’ve included a heart, this also qualifies as my 41st ‘som...
It's Vitt-a-men Sea-Man saluting! Hahaha Love it, and grapefruit is my favorite, xoxoxo
Sunday Postcard Art - Fruits and/or Vegetables
This week’s theme at Sunday Postcard Art is Fruits and/or Vegetables. Either one would be fun, but in my searching of a local food magazine, the fruits won. Fellow came from a different source. Altered Multo card with acrylics, pens and a bit of London map.
What serendipity as concerns the stamp. Lovely card. xoxo
Sunday Postcard Art - Flourish or Swirls
This week, the theme for Sunday Postcard Art is “Flourish” or “Swirls”. Last year I gave away a lot of my rubber stamp collection, but I was pretty sure I kept this lovely flourish stamp. I was happy that I did and even happier that I was able to find it! The remaining collection is somewhat ...

Hi Robin! I now think my fave stamp is the Jazz Singer, because I bought the Mosaic Scallops last night but not the Singer. And your card is so awesome pairing them up together! Darnit! That's what I get for having been sick and not hopping before ordering, sigh! Anyway, great card and I love the way you colored her! xoxo

Wow, you are the block diemeister! What a great idea to just color with markers. Tried to do this once highlighting words on one and it turned out fine, but coloring the whole thing would have been easier and prettier. xoxo

from our merry band of revelers to yours
Merry Christmas from the Wards! The theme this year was Graham's idea. We took the photos downstairs with all our instruments (yes, that's my own bass!) and the lighting was poor so I planned on converting to black and white. However, the colored version ended up being pretty good! So here's...
Beautiful spread, Michelle! I do believe in card making that pattern is a variation of Bargello Weave so... Bargello Art Journaling! (Knew it had to be Italian Renaissance, haha). xoxo

Reveal Day! Here is Part 3 of the mini art journal workshop for #LoveFallArt. This is when all of the thoughts that came up while I played come together. I was thinking about texture alot during this process. Of course, childhood memories came up: the sights and smells of Autumn here in Philad...

Thanks for the inspiration, Michelle! Love me some songwriters, just added 2 lyric books to my ToDo's - Willie Nelson and Neil Young. Of course, I'll have to play their music while creating, right? LOL What a great way to transport back in time for all us old Hippy Boomers! xoxo, Aimeslee
