Rent was and remains a brilliant show. My first time attending, I spent the first act thinking, "Yeah, so what?" The second act, however, grabbed my heart and, to this day, has not let go. The DVD of the final performance is good -- I got to see it when they played it in select movie theaters for just a handful of days last fall. It was a treat to see on a large screen.
