I've been seeing mice in my home for about a month. This is major 'can't be happening' with me. Last week we finally got around to putting down those sticky thing-a-ma-bobs and caught one on the first night. Then, nothing. One especially playful little fur ball would run from my bedroom door to behind then entertainment center in my room. Then to behind the dresser, then come back. I border on being a shut-in. I leave my house ONLY when I have to. It is the price I pay for being a good girl and taking my anti-bi-polar drugs. Tuesday was my daughter's birthday so I took her baby girl birthday shopping for Mommy and we delivered said gift to Mommy's work. Mommy is a Medical Assistant in a pediatrician's office. While there, I touched doorknobs, chair arms, baby wipes container and read from the Reader's Digest in the lobby. Who would you most like to be stuck in an elevator with? Least like? At first thought, I'd like to be stuck in an elevator with my daughter, Aja. She lives with her fiance and their baby and works full-time. I never have enough time with her. Mixie Kaye, age 53 weeks, is my grandarling from my daughter, Aja, 25 today. Aja's fiance and Mixie's Da-Da is Rod. I am blessed with Mixie's presence five days and generally two nights per week. As I amble through the day hitting a sink of dishes here and a load of laundry there, a lunch or a toy clean-up, I take frequent laptop breaks in my recliner.
