Love this collections! The samples look awesome....... Congratulations Sharon!
Wow! I never expected so many amazing stories from so many people. I actually had to fly out to our corporate office on Sunday afternoon (yes Father's Day) and I found myself on the plane reading the beginning of the comments and fighting back tears. I had a dear old lady sitting next too me asking me if I was okay... Thanks you for sharing and celebrating with me the fond memories of our dads! I have goodies for honorable mentions too.... So it was hard but here is the winner: While I have many good memories of growing up... Continue reading

First let me begin by giving the dad’s out there and the mom’s who have had to be the dad’s while raising kids a big shout out for Father’s Day! What I’ve learned is being a parent is one of most challenge jobs out there, but also the most awarding, so Happy Father’s Day! Today I’m posting about being a son and about being a dad. This will be my first Father’s Day without my dad who lost his battle to cancer just last month. Heading into today has given me a chance to reflect on my past and a... Continue reading

Hello everyone~ Here is my latest edition to my online video segment. I did a quick and delightful layout using our Fresh Print Clothes Line Collection. I will be sending this layout with a sweet picture of my son Jax to my Grandma for her 94th birthday this month. So I was anxious to speak with Julie this morning to trade final weights but there was a slight misunderstanding to final weigh in. She thought we were doing it Thursday and I thought it was today. So we decided to pull the plug today based on where she was 5 days ago. She had lost a little over 10% as of 5 days ago and I finished at 13.65% as of today and she feels she would've finished around 12%. So she will wear the shirt in the booth!!! I think we both did a great job and as... Continue reading

Today is the day that Julie and I share our results of the contest that we started the week of Thanksgiving. I'm pretty excited with my results and a little nervous that I didn't do enough. I felt pretty good about making it through the holidays without putting on any weight and actually losing some. I think i went into it with the mindset that Julie would only lose around 8% and that should be a lay up for me. It wasn't until we talked the week before Christmas that I realized that she was probably working harder and taking... Continue reading

My final weigh in for my contest against Julie is this Monday!!! She posted on her blog about how it's easier for men to lose weight and all the reasons why I will probably win. Now let me explain something, she's sneaky.... I think she is hoping that I start to ease up instead of push on, well I plan to pushing on. Even with me being in CT this week I've done really good about getting in some big time workouts. It's always been a struggle for me to work out (other than jog) while on the road. But... Julie... I appreciated the challenge. It too kept my motivated during the holiday and I learned so much about myself and my own abilities. I have lost well over 10% as of my last weigh in which was a week and half ago. I've become a crazy machine doing spin classes and a program called crossfit (which my brother has lost over 70 lbs on since April). I've come to realize that I was eating way too bad and this has changed a weigh :) I look at food. I think we've both done great and we both should be happy. Btw, I have a crappy thyroid, rehabbed my knee, bum elbow and a lot of road traveling; so I went into this thinking you really had a advantage. Last but not least had to buy new smaller pants and now they don't fit either... I look forward to seeing you next week and sharing a meal with you :).......

Lori... I just watched the Why I don't cook with Olive oil video on the website, uh oh I'm in trouble. He did say avocado oil and I've been wanting to try that so maybe I'll give it a shot. Thanks for the tip... Have a great weekend!

Okay so it's a new year and I was asked what are my New Years resolutions? This year I've decided not too make any since 95% are broken within the first 3 weeks of the new year. So here's what I want to do... I want to share some fun things with you. If you are reading this, then you know I've been challenged by Julie from Cosmo to a weight loss competition. I know that she's have a great time losing weight and I'm really happy for her. She's even posting video's calling me out. No worries.... I've been... Continue reading

Well, I sure hope all of you had a wonderful holiday! It's Monday morning and I'm sitting that the airport getting ready to head out to Dallas. That's how you recover from a Christmas Hangover... I always find it sad the morning after Christmas and I go to play my radio and the Christmas music is gone. It's just this sad feeling of knowing that I have to wait another year for it. What I realized what I'm waiting for is not just the holiday itself, but all the connections that the season brings. I find that this is the... Continue reading
