If you've ever wondered what the delicious mahi-mahi you're eating looked like before it was presented to you on a plate, look no farther than the accompanying photos. In Mexico, these beautifully-colored fish are called dorado, or "golden one," and there's a fair dorado bite in progress off Cabo San Lucas at Baja California's tip. The bull dorado displayed atop this post was caught by Johnny Mack Powers (right, behind dorsal fin), of Rockwell, Texas. The specimen below is presented by its captor, Matt Miller of Redondo Beach, Calif. Both dorado, or mahi-mahi, were caught aboard Pisces Sportfishing boats. Which...
