Indeed, you recall correctly. And yeah, let's hope for once, they were wrong... I did find some shots of Rio, but not the view I wanted, with the entire bay area. The hotel I stayed in was in one of the far sides of the beach, so from there, you could see the entire lenght of the three beaches that is the most famous view of Copacabana. That's the view I wanted.. it's burned into my mind, but I guess it'll be 'till the next time I go, take those shots and use the hell outta that Gigapan!!! ;) Or maybe I'll just get the poster this time.. =)

I love Blur too.. but you were starting to sound like an iTunes rep, righ there! haha. So, I bet you didn't realise that Mayan thing is a stone that hits pretty close to home for me, huh? ;) Good tie-in with the Cubs and the World Series though. And I will take what Sandra said with a grain of salt.-Hey, I hope I can find some cool views of Rio de Janeiro on GigaPan.. when I was there last July, I didn't buy one of these 360° posters they were selling with views of Copacabana.. and I still beat myself about it every time I remember!!! ='(

It sure is.. but hey, it was your kids that took such a love for it! ;) I wish they gave away free lattes over here, I'd totally be there (specially since there's a McD literally just past the backyard at work). You go ahead and have both on my account ;) I think you'll have about a 60-40 chance to have guatemalan coffee either way, so drink -and caffeinate- up!

I think the idea of Pledge5 is great, and I hope it works. I hate, hate, hate the fact that we don't have Starbucks over here!!! (otherwise I'd totally be a starbucks whore!) That is just plain wrong! To deny me of the caffeinated delicious flavor of a beverage with a name soo long I couldn't possibly remember??? Inhuman, I tell you. However, it brings me to a question.. that situation brought about McDonalds opening up a café concept, McCafé.. is there such a thing over in the US? BC you know, we've had some good Mc-exports.. can you say Happy Meal? Guatemalan invention, my friend. =)

I don't remember the rest, but I'm pretty sure the first one was Buffy the vampire slayer's first 2 episodes that came out as a movie (but with Sarah Michelle Gellar). Pardon me, but it was my teen years.. So probably, the other two must have been some cheese teen flick, haha. Anyway, I can't know because it was some little neighborhood () video shop that didn't keep a record. TUA: Typekey keeps showing the Reply commands in spanish! .. weird, must be my IP.

I love the idea of Mad Libs .. the idea, because I never had one of those books as a kid, they didn't bring them over. I guess I found out about them later on, but I still like the idea of them. I love the fact that in these times, if there's something I'd like for my kids -however far away that may be- I can just order it online =) the beauty of the Internet!!

Well.. lots of things we didn't know about you. First, you really like reading, huh? Second, Gurgi?? what was up with that? And, overall, you've gone lots of places and done a lot of things off that list!! Oh, and totally agree with Marie, all things involving Katie are sooo sweet!

Also my favorite Sinatra song! It takes (me) daydreaming to being dancing to it in a huge ballroom like the '40... doesn't it?

Ok, first of all, yes, you are seriously overthinking this.. but I agree with Krys. Thankfully, my new year's wish was to begin with energy and lots of will.. and I got it! BC I actually had a pretty good first day back to work. =) Oh, and, is there a reason why your blog's title is a line from that Sinatra song? -which I love btw-

Holiday Greetings from very far away!!... Looking forward to your lists... I didn't enter the giveaway 'cause I don't have iTunes, maybe next time. I hope you and Katie both feel fine through the holidays.. Merry Christmas!!! (Are you Catholics?) ps. I'm still on the look-out for that re-release of our movie deal =)

In a very zen"ish" way.. I really liked The Day The Earth Stood Still. I think it has a good message.. granted, there's a few things I would've like to see different, but overall I did like it. Also, I'm glad that some holiday movies are still good =)

I'm so sorry but that was the funniest story.. caca de goose? I am cracking up! I know, it's cruel to laugh at your disgrace, but you made something (I'm sure) incredibly annoying sound seriously comedic I could totally picture the entire scene. And, the guy might have been expecting a tip because of the goose poop involved.. but you did tip them, so it's just their tough luck you only had a buck.. which you gave them.. so, you did your part. tori: Futhermore, I have to say living in a place where tipping is part of nature ('cause of overly crappy economical situations) people who live "only" from tip money (beggers really), actually may do well for themselves.. TRUST ME, sometimes they even make more than people on payroll (they've investigated this). The guy at the carwash did you a "service" so to speak, so let's say he deserved the tip, but people who expect a tip for no reason may well be making profit from it. Else, why do they seem to reproduce? In poor countries (like in Latin America) it's a way of living. I help out small children, the elderly, and visibly sick people; but the ones that are actually healthy -I think it's just plain wrong to be out begging for a handout. And worst of all, with an attitude.

actually, Reina is my last name.. I know, it's misleading and more times than not, I've given my full name and still been asked "And your surname is?" .. hate that! but I've gotten used to it. And good to know I can throw in a word or two of spanglish. I do know someone who would be in heaven at that museum! but though I love chocolate in general, I specially crave the old-fashion not refined, made-the-same-as-200-years-ago type, that is really hard (not impossible) to find.
