Someone asked me the other day what my plans were for the summer.Plans?plans?isn't the whole point of summer not to have any plans,not held to a schedule?
no camps in this house,just slow mornings,followed by time at the pool,followed by lazy afternoons and maybe a trip to his farm or that,that's our summer groove,I can't wait to fall into that:0)

It'll take a few days to settle into our rhythm, but I felt like a quick hello. Early last week I was out in the garden and noticed the lavender was in full bloom - it seems so early! I love baking with lavender and plan on a bit of that this week. I'd also like to make some lavender jam/jelly...
