Houston Film Critics Society named "The Social Network" as best picture on Saturday, joining all but San Diego in doing so. The Dallas/Fort Worth Film Critics Association has jumped on "The Social Network" bandwagon, becoming the latest critics group to honor the film with a Best Picture win. AWARDS SEASON: San Diego shocker, first group to buck trend, names "Winter's Bone" best picture
San Diego Film Critics Circle has decided to break the sweep for "The Social Network", naming the rural drama "Winter's Bone" as best picture, and also bucked the best actor norm with a surprise win for Colin Farrell for "Ondine". The Phoenix Critics association have announced their nominees for their 2010 awards. The winners will be announced on December 28th. Most surprising and refreshing is the overwhelming love for young actress Chloe Grace Moretz.
