Colcannon or Bubble and Squeak
Colcannon (Bubble and Squeak) Ingredients: Cold cooked cabbage and potatoes Salt and Pepper 1 tablespoon Butter (or oil) Method: 1. Chop cabbage and mash potatoes 2. Mix together and add salt and pepper to taste 3. Add butter to a hot frying pan, when melted add the other ingredients 4. Spread potatoes and cabbage flat and allow to brown underneath 5. Here we have a list of terms that you may be asked to do in recipes, hopefully this will make things clearer and less daunting!
