Hi Donna! There is just something about elephants! I found myself watching a video on FB someone had posted of a baby elephant who was stuck and the mom and the entire tribe came to rescue it and then that video led to another and another and after 20 minutes I realized I have an elephant video problem!!! And its possible I have an elephant quilt problem, too, as Im now working on a second elephant quilt! Oh well...it keeps me out of trouble! xoxo, Nan

Hi Anne! Thanks so much for telling me about your sweet mom! I came across a really good biscuit recipe when we lived in Rogers, AR many moons ago and it was my go-to until I discovered cathead biscuits! There are many a great cooks in Arkansas and Im sure your mom was one of them. Im tickled this recipe brought you some happy memories...food has a tendency to do that, its what brings us together most of the time, too! Happy biscuit eating to you! xoxo, Nan

Haha! Well, IF they had asked I just might have given them a small one...or maybe I would have promised to take them to the zoo everyday to watch the elephants be fed...or maybe I would have painted elephants on their bedroom walls...I would have done something...for them...and for me! But neither one of them cared that much about elephants! Dang it! xoxo

Happy Easter to you, too! We are hoping for a sunny day tomorrow, but doubt if it will happen. The stores are filled with sleeveless, Spring-y frocks for Easter and I bought one for myself thinking it would be a warm, sunny day...now Ill be wearing it with a giant puffy coat on top! Hope you have a lovely day and that you get at least one chocolate bunny! xo, Nan

Hi Ana! Thank you for such a nice comment! Dead Man Over Worms and the Emeril Show were light-years ago! I cant even remember...maybe 2006? It was very fun and very frightening for me to be on TV! And I NEVER wanted to do it again! Thanks for reminding me about the Orange Hot Cross Buns - yes, those are definitely worth the calories! I do make them every year, a couple of times, before Easter and for Easter, my family loves them, too. I love hearing that someone else likes the same thing I do! Hope you have a great day and thanks so much for your kind words! xo, Nan
