In the news – Angelina Jolie protested
Angelina Jolie, actress and wife to Brad Pitt, has been receiving criticism over her feature directorial debut she had been filming in Bosnia. A group has been pressuring officials to pull her filming permit. Rumors have surfaced that the film portrays a relationship between a rapist and one of his victims. This instantly sparked protests. LA Governor Bobby Jindal in the news
Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal has been all over the news lately. In his latest interview he made a statement that has perk up many ears from the American public. The Governor wants members of Congress to stay home more often. He feels by giving them term limits, making them part-time, and not allowing them to become lobbyist would generate more common sense from Washington D.C. American Red Cross - True Heroes
The American Red Cross is a humanitarian organization that gives aid and comfort to victims of disasters. According to their website, volunteers at the American Red Cross respond to more than 66,000 disasters each year.
