Why no period after “ADM”? I think it’s a military convention—looks like they write abbreviations for ranks without periods as a matter of course (see, e.g., https://www.federalpay.org/military/navy/ranks). Not sure why the Navy and Army get all-caps rank abbreviations while the Air Force and Marines get mixed case, though. As for the ratings, I think I would have given Klobuchar a marginally higher mark than the other “[Insert Name Here] for America” slogans for the Am- echo (even if it isn’t highlighted in the logo). The one who disappoints me the most is Castro; in addition to the dubious associations of “destiny,” I think “one nation” has been pretty well skunked by Pauline Hanson (though I guess only for people who take note of Australian politics). And the “one [x], one [y]” formula makes me think of “Ein Volk, ein Reich, ein Führer,” which is about the worst possible association one could have.
