Sara, You are so talented! Thanks for sharing your beautiful work. I love those little bits of open time/space, when all seems to be working in our favor to sew/create! I ADORE the buttons and all the crafty details. Happy New Year, ONE LOVE.

I am so excited! I just ordered this magazine and can't wait to read it. It is totally in line with my core values. I will tell you all about it when I get my first issue:) I am on the web, looking for a new bag to hold everything, including diapers, water bottle, cell, etc. and this is what I find. I love, love, love it and can't ever, ever afford it, even at wholesale prices. I wish when I was in Thailand, I found designs like this. I even had dreams of making one. Those beautiful textiles with... Continue reading

Every Shabbat, our day of rest from sundown Friday to sundown Saturday, we have two Challah loaves (more than enough to feed everyone) covered beautifully. When we were freed from slavery, The Great Creator blessed us with manna from the heavens when we were in need of nourishment. It's hand embroidered and 100% linen. Continue reading

I am grateful that my boys have reminded me the pure delight of splish- spashing in really muddy puddles. My two favorite things: kisses from my boys and watching their joy as they play in the mud. Not to mention an easy (and oh, so natural), stress release ((for us mamas))!! Continue reading

Getting ready for Shabbat. Making vegetarian Matzah Ball Soup. I made a yummy base soup by sauteing onions, lots (and lots) of garlic, celery, carrots, kale, maitake mushrooms, a bit of sea salt, thyme, salt and pepper, parsley and kale and let it simmer for about an hour. My boys toss in the matzah balls. I feel blessed to have such beautiful food at my finger tips. Welcome Shabbat Queen. We are almost ready... Continue reading

This is my little studio, my magical corner. My favorite part of being in this space is that I am surrounded by giant windows that overlook a stream and a family of deer that I have become fond of. Being blessed with this little corner allows me to enjoy my two favorite things, the presence of mother earth and crafting. Even though little children don't often pay attention to what they are wearing, I notice that when things are made using natural fibers vs. unnatural, my children really want to put them on and are excited about getting dressed. Except... Continue reading

My three year old caught me off guard today when he whipped out his camera at our juice stop this afternoon to take photos of everything imaginable. I think he is catching on to the fact that I have been taking lots of photos lately and here I thought he didn't notice. SUPRISE MOMMY! Have a blessed night! xo Mama Ora Continue reading
