Toy story is just amazing! CP you rock :)
Love it. Please can I see some more? x
I don't know about you but I definitely like the idea of snow more than the actual event. I love snowy vistas and happy children playing in the snow. What the photos never show you is the cars stuck on roads and the not so happy children once they get cold, which seems to happen all of a sudden and results in tears almost immediately. The fact that snow has been a feature of much of this month, combined with the fact that I love Autumn and it was way too short this year means that I was only too... Continue reading

That last week went so quickly!! Well, as promised I have some more cybercrop projecs to share today. The first is a Christmas decoration. I used the words 'Seasons Greetings' from Tando. I inked it with Versa Magic Ink Purple Hygrangea and then added glossy accents where I wanted the glitter to sit. One of my favourite LOs resulting from the cybercrop was my precrop challenge piece, which asked us to choose a Christmas card and use it to inspire a LO. I used Maya Road snowflakes that I painted with acrylic paint, various other snowflakes that I had in... Continue reading

It doesn't feel like a Monday today! I spent most of the weekend joining in with the UKS Cybercrop. It was entitled 'A Scrappy Little Christmas' and all the classes had a Christmas theme. I wasn't sure, but actually it was great because I scrapped all my photos from last Christmas, and am all ready for this year's influx of Christmas photos :) My aim was to to use a Bubbly Funk product or two on every LO that I did, and I reckon I pretty much managed that too. So here are a few to share . The first... Continue reading

I'm in the midst of exam marking again right now and haven't had a moment to be crafty :( So I was going to continue my underground inspiration tour and then I remembered that it's Thanksgiving in the USA this week and I thought I'd think about giving thanks as a point of inspiration this week instead. There are loads of inspirational 'thanks' related things out there. Tessa Buys, for example, has had a month long 'Attitude of Gratitude' going on her blog this month and is thinking of things to be thankful about all month and there are lots... Continue reading

Monday comes around so quickly doesn't it?! I have a little sketch for you today. I was looking back at some LOs this weekend and this is still one of my favourites that I made last year. I love how busy the LO is with lots of photos and embellishments so I decided to turn it in to a sketch to share today. I would love to see what you do with it so please add a link to the comments section. Continue reading

Ingredients: Cardstock Ink Rub ons Maya Road chipboard star Alphabets Embellishments Patterned paper with lines on Yesterday my little one turned four. I decided to write him a letter on his birthday. Firstly I tore and inked some cardstock. The Maya Road star is covered in patterned paper, sanded and inked and then tucked behind the photo with the cardstock. I put a big title under the photo and sprinkled rub ons around the photo too. I then wrote the letter to Connor on K&Co paper that had lines on already to make it easier. I have lots of rub... Continue reading

Lots of crafty people start their Christmas cards early in the year I know, since they often have a lot to make. I'm not sure if it's too early to be thinking about Christmas presents but since the pubs, hotels and restaurants are advertising their Christmas party packages and the supermarkets have started the war of the roses (Cadbury's of course!) I thought 'Why the hell not!' :) I bet there are some people in your family who you are always stuck for presents for and you resort to the ever faithful gift voucher. These days these gift vouchers tend... Continue reading

This week I received a pizza box of goodies from Caroline. It contained oodles of yummy Prima 'Road Trip' papers, blooms, pebbles, canvas covered chipboard, rub ons and more!. When I first looked at it I thought I would struggle to use it, but once I got going I found that I couldn't stop and very quickly I'd created four layouts (over two nights). I'm going to share with you today. See all the detail HERE! Continue reading

Good Morning! We had a busy weekend over on 'The Studio' challenge blog. There is a challenge every Sunday but this weekend we also had our summer cybercrop with hourly classes and challenges. I decided to make 3D frames for mine and used some Bubbly Funk chipboard for the number on the beach house and the 'dog' on the kennel. You can download the class instructions here. And if you fancy having a go at creating your 3D frame then you could even win a prize from Caroline :) One of the challenges over the weekend was a Becky Fleck... Continue reading

Happy Monday everyone :) I thought it was time I got off page, but didn't really know what I wanted to do. I've been looking at jewellery for the wedding over the weekend and I discovered Steampunk. Now, if you've never heard of it then you only have to google it to see that it's not especially wedding-y but I kind of liked the style so I decided to copy a piece I found on google images using a Maya Road Butterfly, Riff Raff Cogs, some Tim Holtz metal work and various blooms. Out came the UTEE again and hey... Continue reading
