I'm an artist. I make portraits of people and animals etc. Besides that I give lectures about autism. I have autism and I enjoy creating bridges between the autistic and the 'neurotypical' world.

Interests: Movies, music, chess, science, neurology, quantum fysics, playing the piano, drawing......

Thank you all! @ Diana Lyons, I know indeed that it can get really cold in Montreal. I just have to buy some warm clothes for that. @ Spocklvr, I know that bullying exists everywhere, but in some places more than others. Here in the Netherlands I've never had any friends, and in those times I've been in Montreal I felt that connecting to people is a lot easier there.

Thanks everybody! @ Diana Lyons, I'm going to Montreal. Soon I will be going for 2 months, and in Februari/March next year I hope to be able to go permanently. It depends on how fast my immigration application is being processed by the CIC.

Dutch people are very narrow minded. It does depend where you go though. In a big city like Amsterdam people are more flexible and tollerant. But here in this town...I feel better when it's raining, then there's no reason to go outside.

I've adopted a koala. You can do this at the Koala Hospital in Port Macquarie Australia. I've done it before because I learned that koalas are threatened with extinction. When you adopt a koala they of course won't send you a real koala, but you just support the work they do to help the koalas. Here's a drawing I've made of the koala I've adopted: Oxley Twinkles.

Thank you all!!! @ One_of_jennifer: This drawing takes about an hour, but I also make portraits of people and animals and they can take up to 15 hours. @ NeonGlo: His name is Pilaf. He's almost 13 years old now. I have him since he was a baby parrot.
