In this work, ritual space is first created through authentic speech, somatic practice to open the body, and meditative soundscapes to access the unconscious mind. Yin yoga calms the mind and nervous system, gently stretching the joints and connective tissues. The practice enables you to turn inward, focussing on the breath and stillness... Continue reading

Stop the FDA’s Draft Guidance! URGENT & TIME SENSITIVE We must act today! (Yes, today, really!) All of you know that Americans for Homeopathy Choice was formed to stop the FDA’s Draft Guidance on homeopathy. Well, today—and we mean TODAY--we have a chance to do just that. The U.S. House of Representatives is about to consider an amendment that would prevent the FDA from spending any more money on implementing the Draft Guidance. That would effectively make it impossible to finalize and enforce that guidance. We have to let our members of the House know that we want them to... Continue reading

UPDATE - Thank you for those who responded so quickly! Good news! Hi everyone! I just watched the debate on C-span a few hours ago. I was incredibly impressed and grateful for Congressman Biggs. You can visit it here: https://www.facebook.com/americansforhomeopathychoice/videos/2382158751849593/* *On the above FB URL you will find a link to a video where someone uploaded the C-Span debate onto Youtube. You can watch the debate in its entirety there. The result of this debate is that at least... Continue reading

I just learned of a new resource for entrepreneurs looking to open and grow their small businesses through a young friend of mine, Eli Vining. Eli will be putting on a very affordable four-evening series for freelancers and consultants this month, starting tomorrow evening. The first three sessions cover marketing/branding, finance, and risk management, but the last session is a panel discussion with established freelancers and consultants on the topic of work life balance which I will be participating in. While the content builds on itself, the sessions are designed to stand on their own and the speakers should be... Continue reading

BAHA Clinics & Low-Cost Care Page We'd Like to Expand Listings to Include Your Low-Cost Care! A lot of people turn to the BAHA Clinics and Low-Cost Care page of our website to find lower-cost options for homeopathic care. Currently this mostly lists specific clinics. https://www.bayareahomeopathyassociation.org/clinics I get a lot of inquiries about lower cost care options as well. I send people to this page, because though many of you may offer sliding scale or low cost, it's not always clear what that is (or maybe you don't always offer it, which is understandable...). Please take a few moments to submit your comments to the FDA in the next day (or at least before 1/28). More information and background can be found on the Americans for Homeopathy Choice (AFHC) Website, including a quick response guide page, Signthepetition.com Most of you are aware that the FDA issued a Draft Guidance on Homeopathic Medicine last December which if implemented would do away with CPG 400.400, as well as potentially evaluate all homeopathic medicines in the same way that conventional pharmaceuticals are evaluated, and definitely employ a risk-based approach. This could severely curtail the availability of homeopathic... Continue reading
