Week 4, Day 1 and 2
I would be lying to you and myself if I sat here and wrote some awesome words about something that really touched me through these two lessons. To be honest I didn't get much out of them. Maybe I missed something; maybe a small child running around distracted me! There... Continue reading

Just got to this lesson! Thanks for sharing Aunt Sammie! The church (court of praise) being a family has been a strong desire for me ever since God showed me the message that I preached! As I think about my own physical family, it’s not always roses and they are not always easy to work with but there is one thing about it, I KNOW that they have my back and that we have the same common goal! That is what I thought about while reading this last study. It may have been harder to work with swords and with only one hand but they had each other’s back. As a spiritual family we should fight for one another no matter how difficult or how hurt you have been. We should have each other’s back! No matter the attack!
Day 5: Removing the Rubble
Good Morning Ladies! This was an eye-opening, heart-stirring, savoring kind of week for me. As I think over the last couple of weeks, I can't help but think about our cooperate services as well as our book study. It's pretty amazing how Holy Spirit blends everything together perfectly. I wan...
Week 2, Day 4: Enter the Opposition
"Sticks and stones may break my bones but words can never hurt me!" Yea right! Whoever made that saying up is wrong wrong wrong! However, when words hurt us or we feel physical threats we do have someone to carry them to. This study reminded me of a time last... Continue reading

One relationship that will always mean something to me is the spiritual connection that Kaylor and I had dancing together. It was like we were called together at that time to Dance for him! I really can't explain the connection except that it was from God! I also think about starting a store with Alesha and how much I need her gifts. It really made me think when reading 1 Corinthians 1-11. I don't need to be jealous or want someone elses gift but use them when I need that gift. Maybe I'm not good at the gift of discerning Spirits (just an example)but when needed find someone who has the gift and use them. I'm not to pray for the gift or wish for the gift. I am to use others and their gifts. That is why we are all togther. That is the body of Christ!
Week 2, Days 2 & 3: City Gates, Soul Gates and Side by Side
Yesterday and today have been very interesting and eye opening for me. I do love to see the Body of Christ work together and see the different talents and giftings come out. It's a very beautiful design created by our super creative Heavenly Father. I think what God is showing me I need to wo...
Just finished this lesson and it stirred up so much in me that I really don't want to share right now! However one thing I do want to encourage everyone with is to not give up! Don't stop and give up on what God has called you to do. The world is looking at us and we need to continue to do what God has placed in our hearts. Luke 14:29 spoke volumes to me! Just because I feel defeated at times don't give others a reason to mock you! Continue laying your foundation!
Week 2, Day 1: Assessing the Need
Hi ladies! I hope everyone had a great weekend. I know service yesterday was good. If you missed it, I want to encourage you to get the cd. I believe it's a timely message for COP and quite possibly a fresh new beginning. We are ministers of restoration! Everywhere I look today, it's what ...
I have been eating off of Sunday’s message all week. It was so fresh and refreshing! I have been pondering over the word that God gave Momma and Daddy through Aunt Betty. This spoke to me too. Put the things that God gives us in a basket and let it float and trust in him! Our callings, our jobs, our families, our business! Give it back to him and trust! So needed this!
Week 2: Wednesday Check In
Alright ladies! It's your turn...Give us a shout out. Let us know if you are doing the study, reading the blog, giving yourself a manicure. :) Whatever, it doesn't matter. Just let us hear from you. Share whatever you would like! Also, if you have a prayer request let us know that as well...
I don't have much to write! Just wanted to say I'm here and that I'm doing the study! I do want to encourage people to share. God has given us things and carried us through things so that we can testify to others.
Day 5: What Has God Put in Your Heart?
What has God put in my heart? This question has stretched me some today. Because in just pondering the deep crevices of my heart, it terrifies me. Even more, writing down what is in the deep crevices of my heart forces me to admit and take ownership of these things. Have you ever had a desir...
To be completely honest the calling that God has given me scares me. Each and every time I get a message or a word from God I am so scared to deliver it. How will people take it? Have I said and studied everything God wants me to? I am also afraid of how far God wants me to go with my calling and if I'm doing all that I can at this very moment. This is where praying and waiting comes in for me. I pray that God will show me when and how I'm supposed to fully walk in my calling.
On the welfare of others, there has been many times that we have felt lead to take care of other’s needs. This is scary for us because very rarely do we have extra income in our home. However, we have never done without. God has always provided our needs!
Day 4: To Be Afraid
Oh my! I can so relate to Nehemiah's fear as he approached the King with his request. After 4 months of praying, God opened the door wide for Nehemiah and he made his request, but oh how scary was that for him. Like Kelly Minter shared, I too have been asked by God to do things that have left...
I must say that I probably talk about my problems or things in life more to friends and family more than I run to God about them. I'm working on this. One thing that stood out to me through this lesson is how my knowledge of the Bible helps me to pray. So thankful that I have the bible that teaches me the promises and the authority I have in Christ. This makes prayer life easier for me!
Day 2: The First Place You Turn
Today, I'm in awe of God. My heart is full and awstruck at his majesty and splendor. There is no particular reason for this. I just think it's a gift from the Lord today and I'm so very grateful. As I was reading today's lesson, I was overjoyed at the names and attributes that Nehemiah gives...
I can honestly say that I have always been concerned with others and my heart does break for people. However it has been very hard for me to care for those that hurt me! I think that God gives us our church family and our spiritual friends for a reason. We should be able to be there for one another and never take each other’s relationships for granted!
Day 1: A Heart that Can Break
Goodmorning ladies! Happy Monday and first day of our bible study on Nehemiah. After having read the introduction and day 1, I'm so excited about this study and what we are going to learn together through studying the book of Nehemiah. I appreciate you ladies and the accountability that we hav...
Hello is anyone out there? Is anyone still reading?
So sorry
Please please tell me that someone else is behind. I think I fed off of the last two lessons a little to long. It was something I needed and I just stayed there until I was full. So this is giving everyone extra time to think about the study. Share something that has really touched you, that has ...
Day 4&5 A Days's Work/A First Encounter
To be completely honest with you, I am way behind! Studying for Wednesday night took all my time and made me behind on our bible study. However I promise to catch up this weekend. I apologize! Here are a few question for you to answer or think about. 1.What stood... Continue reading

I can honestly say that I would not choose my in-laws over my own family. Not that they are bad or that I don't get along but its hard to leave your own family. I think that this tells us what kind of person Ruth is. She was willing to move foward and keep her covenant with her mother-in-law.
I must say that there are countless times that I have wept but still kept moving forward. I actualy believe I'm in one of those times now. I have been attacked, hurt, punched in the face (not really), and have wept but kept moving forward in everything that God has called me to. No matter the hurt I'm in God can't do anything If I'm not willing to move forward and change my atmosphere. Maybe Ruth just needed to change her atmosphere.
The word hesed is something that I strive to do in my relationships. I can't say that I'm there but pray I can be. I want to have a love and a realtionship that causes me to act for the benefit of others and not myself. When thinking of this hesed relationship I can't help but think about Mrs. Paula and Mrs. Susan who fill in in the nursery any time they are asked so that I can benefit fromt the message. They give up thier wants a desires so that the rest of us can get fed.
Day 3: Weeping Forward
To be honest with you I have not gotten to do Day three yet. So as soon as the girls go down for nap I will add more. If anyone would like to go ahead and share what you have learned or felt through this study please do so. Something to think about. How has the word hesed enriched your understan...
Day 2: Returning Home
I don't want this blog to be all about me, so would any of you like to share what you got from today's study? Maybe you would like to share how you can relate or discuss some of your experiences. On the side bar of your study it says that... Continue reading
