How flexible/understanding is your workplace? You probably couldn't compose at work. However, given a modicum of freedom, you could write & assemble long posts at home & then upload one every few weeks. More blogs! More things to amuse me! I'd be happy to help. Ellen can give you my particulars, if you wish. Katherine
Is it just me or do those box costumes look a trifle, um, unfortunate on the two gentlemen?

I knew the model horse world was big, but I had no idea. Would Beth consider starting a blog on the subject? I want to know if Invictus ever gets his NAN qualification.
The last time I went to Rocky Horror, everyone held up their cell phone during "There's a light." Not a candle in the place. I felt old.

A post-party Hollywood guest would have even more trouble with those stairs than a three-year-old human - or was that just my college days?
I give myself 1/2 credit, I figured it had something to do with getting the planes out of the water. I've hung out at boat ramps. Didn't picture it driving about with a plane in front of it.
Looking up from a street scene & seeing major a international icon was a time warp? Surreal? Old hat to world travelers such as yourselves?

I keep trying to think of more songs but all I hear are the earworms from the ones you mention. I think we might have grown up in similar milieus.

1) The photographer did a great job. The choice of angle emphasized the scale of the subject, i.e. them's honkin' big gates. 2) Why does the Queen have an alter rail in her bedroom? 3) I have now been in the US too long. I saw the title and heard the KY pronunciation instead of the French.

Yay, runner medals. You go girl! Also, jealous of person above who got to come to Vienna. I was there eons ago. I remember the Stallions & the toilet in our hotel. Rather than drop into water, the, um, material landed on a shelf & was then swept off. Plus, I remember every detail of the morning training session. The rest of Vienna, not so much.

(Possible duplicate comment) Of course. Pick-ups trucks must be admired. Although I can't imagine driving one in the Old Town section of any European city. How do Czech/Austrian horses get to shows?

For those of us what never plan to do this, how does the upper body strength fit in? I would think gravity woud be on your side. The slipping & dangling I get. Brave BT!

LOL. Really. Ended up reading bits of it aloud to hubby. BTW, does Typepad allow a Like button for each post?

Yes, yes, lovely pictures, lively text, yadda, yadda. But what I *really* want to know is what camera where you using to get that close-up?! Is it a bird? Is it a bug? Eek.
The snow really stops neatly like that, esp in shorts pic? Gives new meaning to the term blanket of snow.

The excellent travel book, Road Fever by Tim Cahill, is about crossing boarders as much as it is about driving from the southern end of South American to the northern tip of NA.

Riding a horse. I'll have to try that sometime. Perhaps it requires travel to Argentina to accomplish.

Love the skate trail. Stole the photo of it for my iPad home screen. Icon arrangement requires bottom heavy photos such as this. What is your photo fee? is now following The Typepad Team
