I am puzzled. You speak as though gelatins are common in México. Yet in my 11 years here, I have seen Jell-o just twice -- once when my friend Adriana made a five-flavor montage for me when I was sick, and again when she made it for inclusion on my website.
Is this love of gelatins more of a regional than a national thing?
Rolly, gelatins of every kind are common everywhere in Mexico. From wandering street vendors to market vendors to gelatins prepared by housewives, they are ubiquitous. Ask Adriana--she's sure to tell you!
