On CNBC recently, someone remarked that on demand viewing and streaming is still a very small percentage of TV viewing. I wonder with the increased quality of shows on basic cable, if we are not in for a new age of live TV viewing with the stars of many shows now live tweeting, and recently William Shatner seems to have joined in on shows he has no financial interest. Maybe TV as a real-time social collective experience is the next phase.
