TypePad HTML EmailDear Andi, I didn't use a different needle. I guess it depends on how thick the pvc is. People suggest using tissue paper between the pvc and your machine foot. Some suggest using a teflon foot and some suggest spraying the pvc with silicon spray. I didnt do any of those things. Mine is quite thin. I did find that using sticky tape instead of pins to hold things together was helpful. Also using the bias tape meant that nothing stuck to anywhere on my machine. I still dont have a list of who will be buying my fabric. Where do you live, I cant remember. Ask your local patchwork store if they are getting it. I know Patchwork with Gail B will have it in Melbourne as well as Foothills fabric and threads. I know that www.underthemulberrytree.com will also have the full range.
