Oh, I'm way behind on my blog reading. Now I think of you every time I put those mittens on. I'm in love with them. I'm trying to make sure I don't lose (one of) them without getting too neurotic about it.

I went to a handmade fair the other day and thought of you--there was so much beautiful needlework there. I told my friend it didn't make me want to buy stuff, it made me wanna make stuff. I did, however, buy some mittens repurposed from a felted wool fair isle sweater and lined with fleece. They look like something you would knit. I think that's why they caught my eye, because I've been thinking of you and David so much these past few weeks. The mittens make me feel so warm and homey, and I kind of need that. Don't we all?
