Pocahantas is to Avatar as a penut butter and jelly sandwich is to Ice cream. the first are movies and the second food, but serously i'de rather have Avatar and a bowl of Ice cream, forget pocahantas and the pb&j or as $1,000 dollars is to $1,000,000 dollars it is a no brainer.

It was the first movie I ever went back to the theater to see more than once.

I gess the cridics just dont understand what preformance capture is, they probably also didnt look at how the movie was made. In a sence each of the on screen characters are avatars of the acters and do and express whatever the acter does. Plus if it wasnt the acters expressions then I gess that they just thought that puting green dots all over there faces looked cool or some thing, maby a new trend or facion statement.

Jakes avatar is around 10 ft tall and some of them look to be taller than he is so it sounds probable maby the seen in the movie involves a younger groupe

creative. it seems as though this race has a long life span do you plan on going in to how that might affect the the relationships they have with alien races you did mention the gww. also they seem to have big time built in wepons so to speek is it because of a hostile environment or something else. one last thing and this is just my personal opinion and that is the more you use swearing the less impact it tends to make as the story goes on, as well as some people might get ofended, on the other hand there are characters who are known for having that perticular charm and skill with profanity.

I think the key will be in reusing products, synthetics (depending on how they are made),and renuable enegery. I work in construction and the the amount of material wasted is sickening. Most of it is either because it is either easier or more cost effictive not to reuse or seperate and recycle.
