Congratulations for all the hard work you did putting together the enormous Sookie companion to Charlaine. Great short story Dana; just as hard because of its short length. Both of you ladies certainly earned your Macavity awards. Sandie Herron

It looks like the website also has a number of Tips and Tricks magazines. I put one up but I won't duplicate with the others. Here's the webpage if you want to look at the remainder: http://issuu.com/ckeditorial/docs I hope you've enjoyed the sneak peeks at some fine craft magazines as... Continue reading

Love the card, love how the card is in the inspiration photo. It gives such a sense of calm.

I love your thank you card. It's gorgeous. It's amazing you could take an initial and turn it around into such a beautiful card.
My youngest cat Fender received not one but two great honors yesterday. He was voted for at the Cat Fancy website for Cat of the Day and Rescue Cat of the Day. Here's his profile if you'd like to see it. http://www.catfancy.com/blog/ ViewBio.aspx?apid=193188 You don't have to log in to... Continue reading

We in the Herron home are sad today. Our oldest cat Big Block died yesterday. She’d been ill for some time. And she was old, 19 ½, as far as we know (we adopted her 19 years ago and the vet said she was about one or probably less). That’s... Continue reading

While I grew up in New Jersey with its own lazy day rivers and creeks, I would have to claim a summer trip to Lake Placid in upstate New York and to Stowe, Vermont brought me closer to any kind of river rafting. I also enjoyed sitting on the huge boulders lining the river flowing at the intersection of New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania (if my memory is correct) and watching inner tubes float by. I currently live near water, but I don't think the Gulf of Mexico moves very quickly at any time of year! Guess I'll enjoy my vicarious adventures through your books.

I think you all know that Bill is on the board of directors of our local blood bank -- Suncoast Communities Blood Bank. He was on the board for nine years and then had to leave because of term limits. He's now in his second batch of terms. I don't... Continue reading

I follow an often funny and always enjoyable blog written by a group of ladies who call themselves Book Tarts. Most are authors of mysteries with a touch of humor to them. When I visited the blog today, I found a very sad story. (You can read the full post... Continue reading

I will join the other voices raised today in outrage that a woman died because she feared losing her home. Why is it easier for her to die and for her dog to be killed than to pay for her doctor visit? What makes that OK? Can my representatives explain that to me?

I've just uploaded a bunch of photos into the Feline Photo album 00 of all the "kids" so you can see how they've grown. It's so much fun looking through them again. I hope you enjoy them as well. Continue reading

It seems that I've been trying to catch up with myself for years. Somewhere along the way I'm going to have to accept that you just don't get caught up. I am part of the information overload population, and I'm trying to read everything that seems to show up in... Continue reading

David Thompson Monday, September 13, 2010 will always be remembered. I won’t even have to mark it on the calendar. It was the day my friend David Thompson died. I was sick that day with pulled ribcage muscles, and I’d just been to the doctor. I had drugs and hot... Continue reading
