I Love The Christmas Season...
There's a special 'buzz' I feel during the Christmas season. I think for me it starts the minute Australian Quilt Market finishes; and I know that all my travelling is over until next year, meaning I get to do all the lovely things in my garden and my home, and with family and friends, that I ne...

Hi Fiona, Yes, I think your hexagons look better quilted too. I just started on a project last night from Natalie Bird's book, Tis the Season, that has a little hexagon panel in it. Hexagons seem to be all the rage at the moment. I can't resist, so I'm giving them a go! Boy, I'm chatty for 7.30am!! Anyway, can't wait to see your finished project. Have a great weekend, Fiona.
8 Maids A Milking...
That's got a very 'freerange ' sound about it. I was starting to get confused with some people counting down to Christmas like myself, and others counting up...so I decided to google it...and discovered we were all wrong - the 12 days of Christmas traditionally start the day after Christmas and ...
How exciting, Mel, to have designed a fabric range. I can't wait to see it. I hope I can win some of it too. Praying, too, that those lemons rot away forever for you!
Little Menagerie
Ok, so the lemons haven't left, they just continued rotting with no lemonade in sight.... In fact since my last post only more rotten lemons arrived. I think maybe there never will be a recipe to make them into lemonade? Maybe I need to somehow learn to accept the smell of the rotten lemons and...
Natalie, So love the bags, especially Lou Lou. I love the "curvy" top! Have a wonderful weekend at the AQM. Can't wait to hear all about it!

You should see what my cat does with one of those plastic bags you put the veggies in,and it has lettuce in it! She loves lettuce. Before you know what's happening, she'll jump up on the bench carry it down to the floor and start wrestling with it! It's a MasterCard moment!
It's just a big box...
Who could of thought that one cardboard box and paper packaging could be a whole days entertainment for four furry friends. Freckles was first to discover this wonderful box and she slept in it all morning, Felix then finding it in the afternoon. No sleeping for him, more like a lot of...

Pedal to the metal
It has been the best weather lately. One day sunny, raining the next. Why is this so good?? A day to catch up on the washing, maybe pull a few weeds and then a full day totally motivated at the sewing machine listening to the rain just pour down, just about all day. I LOVE it! Not hot, not cold,...

Hi Sanchia,
This is a great post because now I know you have a Flickr Group, etc. I'll be certain to join! I've just joined the FB page too. This social networking is getting BIG! :) I love Brutus. In fact, months ago I emailed Bronwyn a bag photo I made with Brutus in it and she said she'd put it on the blog, but I haven't seen it yet. Maybe I missed it. I also, about a month ago, enquired about being listed as a place to buy her patterns, but never heard back. Maybe that can still happen? :) I've always loved Bronwyn's designs, and have used them alot over the years. I'll see if I have any photos around and add them to the Fickr group. Have a great day, Sanchia.
Nice to meet you!
Hi Everyone :) *waving* Nice to be meeting all of you. Bronwyn says such lovely things, but I'm hardly a computer "guru." I'm on board at the moment to do some of the "computerie" bits and pieces. You may have noticed that there are photos gradually being added to the buttons on the sidebar as w...
I love the dress. Makes me wish I was a little girl so I could wear it!
The Squeak Heard Around the World
Yes! Thanks for humoring me. Literally. Perhaps most of us find a giant-mouse maxi to be a fashion turn-off. However, Thomas of WayCoolKid was inspired. Yep. Within a day of the post, Thomas hopped right-to and whipped up this adorable mouse jumper for his daughter. He describes the jumper...
Thanks, Lynette. I was so excited when I heard I won! I'm honoured. I'll either not use these and keep them like a trophy, or make a very special wall hanging from Lynette's new fabric. Can't wait to be able to buy it!

Congratulations Sandy 61 cookie... In The Dog House is the name of our new doggy button pack. Thank you to everyone for helping us name our button pack. There were so many great names to choose from...which made it even harder to pick a winner, but we got there in the end. I know some of you s...

Meet the gang...
Today we have had fun finalising this button set, it's Hugo's favourite button pack...I wonder why, maybe its because it features some of his doggie friends! Riley is Emma's dog, Nelson is one of my brothers dogs and Rosie was our first family dog. Pretty cute bunch, huh! But what should w...
