I am looking for films for an upcoming ethics course for public service professionals, and entirely forgot about Brubaker. Thank you! FYI, If you;ve never heard of, they are home to 123 documentaries/docu-dramas on a variety of topics. Their system works beautifully for teaching online courses. My students can pay between $2.99 and $4.99 (depending on whether your school has a copy of the film in the University library) to have the film stream onto their personal computer for viewing. There's a 90-day window to watch once they've paid the fee. As an example of movies I've used: "Holding Ground: Rebirth of Dudley Street," a movie about an impoverished Boston community organizing to revitalize their neighborhood. "Most Dangerous Man in America: Daniel Ellsberg," documentary about the Pentagon Papers Whistleblower. "Scouts Honor," documentary about a father and son's effort to open the Boy Scouts to gay kids. Enjoy!
