I agree that college is necessary for some people to further their careers, but I also think that it depends on the person. Some people will be more prosperous in life by just going straight into the work field. But I do not think it's fair that people with a college degree and just graduated are chosen for jobs over people who have been working in the field for years. In some instances they can be chosen over the people who have been in the field for a while, but just because you do not have a college degree does not mean you do not know what you are doing. The statistics are also from a college, so they also would want to show that college is the most important factor in getting a job so they readers can pay to go to college. is now following The Typepad Team
