best child's foot stool
i made this stool when Lee was a baby (8+ years ago now!) i saw one like it at a parenting drop-in centre and learned it was made from juice cans. a little research just told me juice can stools were popular in the 1950s. we like that it's soft, light, sturdy, and easily portable for litt...

Hi Katie
I just used regular concrete from the hardware store... Not sure if it was quick dry or not? I dont think it was
My neighbour said 3 days would be fine if they were not getting walked on. The stones I made were just decorative.
The ones she does are meant to be part of paths etc, so I think that is the difference.
Have fun and good luck. They are actually pretty easy to do! I was intimidated by the concrete but it ended up not being a big deal.
Thanks for reading

gorgeous girl, beautiful family! happy birthday Elsa!!!!
Ten years ago this kid changed my life forever. She is the kindest, most non-judgemental, accepting, and thoughful person I know. I am glad to have her in my life and look forward to sharing the next ten with her.
what a harvest!! amazing. i love garlic!
harvest helper
Cyrus loved this activity so much, when he was done he tried to put all the garlic back into the ground so that he could pull it all up again. I have since planted beets and turnips in its place in hopes that come fall he'll enjoy that harvest just as much.
