I love zinnia season almost as much as tomato season! They look great! My son mowed over mine this year, not too many survivors. Thanks for sharing.

I love the dirty bare, feet of summer; it feels like freedom. My moments are passing by too quickly...

Today is our first day of school and my son's birthday. He's 15 and my daughter started her senior year. How can time go so fast? My only consolation is that I have been "present" for their childhood. No regrets except that it is quickly coming to a close :( I am such a lucky mama to have two wonderful teenagers.

As my children head through the teen years at full speed, there is solace in knowing that I spent our time together in way that can never be discredited. I am grateful for every day and the time we have to laugh and love together. Every time I hear a friend of theirs say "Your Moms are the best!" I know that everything is as it should be and we are a great family. Last night was date night and after dinner we talked about going to a bookstore for a while until C said, "Let's go home - we don't have that much time left with them." At 17 & 15 I wish we could press pause, just as much as every other age.

I love the bib design! I will have to make one for a special friend of mine that is expecting any day now! My children are also past the age of Soulemama's, but visiting everyday brings a bright spot to my life. I am filled with hope that there are mommas that are enjoying their children as much as I have enjoyed mine. It is hard to see them start off on their adult journeys, but I am so proud of them!

I like the Spring Sky socks. I am tired of bulky yarn projects and ready to do some fun socks for my sister! Thanks for a great issue and great giveaway.

What a sweet little boy! My big (teen!) boy is out in his handknit hat and gloves shoveling us out today. Luckily, we don't get this much snow at once often so it is more of a game for him than a chore!
